Welcome to Cloyne Diocesan Youth Services (CDYS)

CDYS works across the Diocese of Cloyne offering a range of specific and quality Youth Services, family support services, Youth Ministry and Faith based supports, community drug services and supports, as well as a range of clinical and therapeutic supports to those who are most vulnerable in our communities.

In addition we provide tailored and specialised services in partnership with Tusla, HSE and other statutory and voluntary partners.

We recognize and value the dignity and uniqueness of every individual that we journey with.

About Us

CDYS was established in the Diocese following a loose affiliation of youth clubs in the Diocese of Cloyne from 1962. When the National Federation of Youth Clubs (now known as Youth Work Ireland) was established in 1973 with a new constitution, CDYS was firmly on the map and active at a national level. Since our establishment as a limited company in 2005, CDYS has continued to grow and develop significantly in the provision of youth, community, specialised, therapeutic and faith based services in the Diocese and across Cork.
