CDYS Ltd invites applications for the following positions:

YDP Family Support Worker – CDYS Mobile YDP – 35 hours a week

YDP Family Support Worker – Mallow YDP – 17.5 hours a week

In partnership with Irish Youth Justice Service CDYS wish to recruit two Family Support Workers to work with the CDYS Mobile Youth Diversion Project (Full Time) and with the CDYS Mallow Youth Diversion Project (Part Time).

To work developmentally and organically with families of referrals to the Youth Diversion Project’s identified as needing additional support.

To devising appropriate interventions and programmes that will meet these needs of families referred in innovative and creative ways.

We are seeking dynamic individuals suitably qualified in a relevant area such as social care, youth work, or social work, coupled with over 1 year dedicated experience of working with and supporting families in a community setting.

Youth Diversion Project Worker Mallow – Maternity Leave

CDYS is recruiting for the post of Project Youth Worker, to cover maternity leave, for the Youth Diversion Project Mallow. This project is delivered in partnership with the Irish Youth Justice Service and An Garda Siochana. 

Youth Diversion Projects are local community based projects whose aim is to help young people move away from behaviour that brings them into contact with the justice system.

The projects offer opportunities for education, employment training, sport, art, music and other activities. The projects seek to encourage a better quality of life for everyone in the community and to support good relations between the Gardaí and the community.

Applicants should have a 3rd Level Degree (Level 8 or equivalent) in Youth Work, Social Care, or a related field and some experience in working with young people in a targeted way in a youth, community/outreach setting.

Centre Administrator Based in Goudshill Community Centre – 39 hrs per week

Gouldshill Community Youth Centre is a vibrant & busy Centre.  We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated & flexible individuals for the posts of Gouldshill Centre Administrator. The Community Service Programme is funding this position
