Guidelines for Mobile Phone Film & Photography Competitions
- Enter by sending your film or photo in a message to the C.D.Y.S. Mitchelstown Instagram page instagram.com/cdysmitchelstown/
- This competition is open to all second level students in County Cork.
- Parental permission is required to take part in the competitions. (see Below for Consent Form)
- Parental approval of content required. Parents need to see and approve of the content being submitted.
- Please do not submit sensitive content such as nudity or any sort of violence.
- If friends or neighbours are included in the film/photo then a separate consent form needs to be filled in.
- Strict time limit of 1 minute maximum for each film. Films must be at least 40 seconds long. If you need to lengthen your film to reach the 40 seconds then include the hashtags #CDYSMitchelstown, #OneMobileOneFilmOneMinute, #CreateDontContaminate, #TogetherAtHome, #StayHome
- A young person can submit up to 3 film and 3 photo entries per week.
- Comedy, horror, drama, documentary, music video, animation, stop motion, sing, dance, tell a story, tell jokes we want to see them all.
- Topics can be on how you are isolating, social distancing, climate change, having fun, cooking, film/tv reviews or anything you want. Use your imagination.
- The competition will run for the duration of the Covid-19 crisis
- Please adhere to social distancing instructions as set by the Government and the HSE when filming or taking photos for these competitions.
