North Cork Honda Club Fundraiser

ACTivate Club receiving the cheque from the Garry Morriseey of the North Cork Honda Club

North Cork Honda Run for the ACTivate Club CDYS.
The ACTivate Club, CDYS, Mallow – which is a weekly support group for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and their siblings were delighted to receive a very generous donation last week from the North Cork Honda Club of €3910. On Sunday 14th May 2017, well over 50 different varieties of Honda’s gathered outside the Big Blue Cube, Gould’s Hill, Mallow to set off on their Honda Run around the beautiful sights of North Cork. This run was organised by Garry Morrissey and his fellow Honda members of the North Cork Honda Club. The atmosphere outside the Big Blue Cube on the morning was electric with people coming to look at the different Honda’s and some even managed to get a spin on one. The parents and volunteers were busy at work inside preparing the refreshments for the bikers. All hands were on board to ensure that everyone was fed and watered before they headed off on their adventure. There were loads of fantastic raffle prizes for a raffle that were kindly donated from various shops/organisations around the county. The young people, parents, volunteers and the ACTivate Club, CDYS would like to thank everyone who donated food, minerals and gave of their time to help out in the preparation and on the day itself.   The money raised will greatly enhance the activities in the club over the coming year.
